PÁŠXA Estate White Blend

One of our most intriguing offerings, the PÁŠXA Estate White Blend will leave you captivated.

In 2024 we saw an exciting development in the Estate White Blend. Previously, this wine was made exclusively with Rockgarden Estate fruit. In 2024, nearly half of the grapes came from our newly planted Petros Estate Vineyard in the heart of The Rocks District AVA. This blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, and a hint of Viognier is otherworldy: it feels rich yet weightless, it’s texturally complex and aromatically thrilling. Unless you’ve tried this wine, it’s unlikely you’ve ever had anything like it.

2024 VINTAGE ACCLAIM

“The 2024 PÁSXA Estate White, blended with Marsanne & Roussanne and from The Rocks District of Walla Walla Valley, presents itself with immediate breadth and dimension, opening on aromas of ripe yellow apple, quince paste, and preserved lemon woven together with crushed sage leaf and fennel fronds. The palate enters with quiet power, unfolding gradually as layers of stone fruit and orchard fruit flesh out the midsection with a rounded, tactile feel. Rather than feeling heavy, the wine carries its richness with poise, guided by savory herbal tones and a subtle mineral edge drawn from the rocky soils. As it warms in the glass, secondary nuances emerge, introducing gentle baking spice and faint almond skin that add depth without distracting from the core. The components feel fully interlaced already, giving the wine a seamless flow and an almost architectural sense of balance. Acidity is measured yet persistent, keeping the wine lifted while allowing its natural weight to remain intact. Highly recommended.”

“This Marsanne/Roussanne blend is sourced from the Rockgarden and Petros vineyards, both estate-owned in the Rocks District AVA. It’s a rich, layered wine, with densely packed green and yellow fruits, fresh picked sage and other herbs. As it warms in the glass it softens and adds touches of spices. Beautifully balanced and already showing seamless integration, this is headed for further improvement over the next decade.”

“The 2024 Estate White tempts the senses with a lovely array of white flowers, mint, chamomile and nuances of peach sorbet. Surprisingly lifted and feminine in style, it offers crisp mineral tones mingling with a pretty inner sweetness as ripe apricot and hints of candied citrus swirl throughout. It finishes long, lightly structured and classically dry, leaving a subtle tinge of spice and a tension-building green apple resonance.”

“The 2023 ‘White Blend’ combines near equal parts Marsanne and Roussanne. This takes on awesome aromatics of apricot and green papaya with pie crust and cantaloupe notes. The palate is dense and viscous with serious nerve and marvelous stony undertones. Full-bodied and delicious, enjoy this heady Rhone-inspired wine now and over the next eight years. Drink 2025-2032”

“Marsanne provides 56% of the blend and Roussanne the rest, both sourced from the estate vineyard which was planted in 2007. Exotically fragrant with a lush mix of ripe pears, papaya and guava, those fruit flavors come sprinkled with baking spices, notably cinnamon, as the wine hits the palate. It gathers itself in the finish, with compelling concentration and impressive length, adding veins of butterscotch and salted caramel as it trails away.”

“The 2023 White Blend Rockgarden Estate dazzles with a medley of tropical aromas, including ripe pineapple, golden peach, and a subtle trace of ginger spice. On the palate, the wine reveals a luxurious texture, almost creamy yet vibrant, with flavors of juicy apricot and honeyed pear interwoven with almond cream and a splash of lime zest. Hints of candied lemon peel and a whisper of white florals add finesse to its layered profile. The wine’s finish is strikingly long and balanced, leaving impressions of green apple, vanilla bean, and a touch of sweet citrus. This is a seamless and captivating blend that masterfully combines richness with elegance, making it both approachable now and worthy of cellaring. Highly recommended.”

“Spellbinding aromas of honeyed ginger, preserved lemon, and notes of smoky salt from the Rockgarden Vineyard planted in 2007 by Nina Buty, situated in the highest part of the cobblestones in the Rocks District of Milton Freewater. The site is farmed, organic, and biodynamically. The textural palate is salty and ripe. White dried flowers, sea salt, lemon bee balm, and a savoury note of roasted chamomile. Delicious.”

“Blending 56% Roussanne and 44% Marsanne from Rockgarden Vineyard, the 2023 White Wine is balanced and elegant, showcasing distinct flavors and a sense of restraint. Fresh acidity steadies a textured mouthfeel of honeyed candy and floral prettiness. Drink now.”

“The 2023 White Blend Rockgarden Estate opens in the glass with a dusty bouquet of dried flowers, fermented ginger, crushed yellow apples and wet stone. It’s soft and lifted, with a juicy acidic core guiding a savory mix of orchard fruits and mineral tones. This leaves a saline sensation and hints of ripe apricot, finishing with medium length… Drinking Window: 2025-2034”
